Mechanical Engineering students are challenged to design and fabricate a robot in one semester to complete various tasks. I decided to make a cascading lift and winch system with a motor-driven roller.
Technical Overview:
* Fits in a 12" x 12" x 16" box.
* 4000 rpm x .2 Nm motor driving the rollers, operating at peak so 0.1 Nm x 85 rpm
* Two servos actuating the cascade lift operating at peak power. Total: 2 Nm x 25 rpm
* Everything milled, turned, or water jet out of Aluminum and Delrin.
* Cascade lift maximum height: 25"
* 1 kg counterweights to counter moment of cascade lift
