Over the past 2024 summer, I was a Mechanical Engineering intern for Moving Health, an ambulance engineering company in Ghana. They make ambulances that can traverse the roads in the North West Region while utilizing locally sourced materials.
My project was to adapt a previous tent design to attach to extend from the side of the ambulance and reach over 20 ft to provide shade in their new mobile clinic.
